This is my Chapter Chat for this week I did the Badge with Michael the hardest part was to do the badges because some of them were so hard to do. And also we put on some researcher on here.

 Today Mrs Taaffe came in and she confessed that she did the crime, then we told her what evidence she had done in the crime,  she had stole alot of milky way bar's from the jar, she had to come to school to drop off some stuff at school and then she needed to use the dongle so she sneaked into Whetu then she saw the chocolate's so she grabbed some of them then she herd someone coming so she ran out the door but her hand got caught and she got a cut on her wrist. She deactivated the alarms at the office then she came over. She came to school on the day of the crime.

This is my Grammar Cop Today it was hard to do the second one because I keep messing up alot.
 

Crack the code

 

The is crack the code worksheet and I did it with Kingston and it was hard to find out the first code because we got confused but when we did our own code it got really easy because we told each other some of them.

BLOG CHALLENGE

 

I did the blog challenge with Levi and we did blog challenge 3 the hardest part was to get the information about Guy Fawkes, on the first slide we were tracing a person but the slide randomly deleted so we just left it and carried on with our information slides.

This is my letter of the week this weeks letter was C the hardest part was to find a verb because there was no words that start with C so I went on a different website and found one.

 

Athletic's Reflection.

 Yesterday was our school Athletic's day and I competed in 100 m Heats and 100 m Finals and the other races I did was 200 m Heats and 200 m  Finals. The event I found the hardest was High Jump because I had the wrong pants on and they were to tight to jump. The event I found the easiest was shot put because I was using my arms and It was quiet easy because I had a lot of practises. I think I was doing action because I competed in all my races.

This is my letter of the week this weeks letter is R the hardest one was to find a word that ends with R. When I was doing the sentence I got a person off a popular game and used it in my sentence. The common noun was the easiest of all because I thought of it on the mat.

This is the fingerprinting that we did with Mrs, Kennedy we had to put our fingers in ink and then roll it on the sheet. I have 7 Arches 2 loops and 1 whorl.

this is my letter of the week for this week this weeks letter was L I moved some sentences around to make it more cooler and I used some different word for different stuff. The hardest one was properly the sentence.

 

Cooking

 This week I joined the cooking group.

On the first day we had to go through all the dangers of cooking.

 

On the second day we chopped all the ingredients and did a word find.

On the third day we ate the soup and had bread with it.

The part that I enjoyed the most was eating the soup and talking to my friends.

I created a static advertisement to show my learning about the question why should animals be kept in zoos. My Opinion was that animals should be kept in zoos because they have good breading programs.

Cross nCountry

 Cross Country Reflection 2020

This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the age group 11- year old boy's

I am most proud of that I did not stop when I had to I keeped going.

I think my effort towards our training at school was really good I did better than last year.

I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by not stopping and coming 8th when I was close to come 10th.

Freak out scale

 

This is my chapter chat for this week I was doing the freak out meter the hardest one was number 9 Michael helped me with that one. The easiest one was number 6 I did freak out because it was in between all of the red and green.

Whetu Challenge

This is The Whetu Challenge for this week we had to make a cartoon slide, When I was doing Mr. Crabs when I was tracing it keep deleteing so I had to do It very slowly so It didn't delete and at the end I got a money face because Mr. Crabs loves money

This is my letter of the week I was working next to Sean and he helped me with my sentence. When I was doing sloth I had lots of ideas that rhyme with it but moth and cloth was my best ones.

This is my letter of the week this week's letter was P and I was working by Kyrahn he helped me with the rhyming sentence It was hard rhyming words that start with P but the two words that rhyme were hard to find. 

Egg Drop Challenge

The hardest part was tying the peace of wool to the sock and to the balloon. The people I worked with was Sean & Peyton. The things that we used were 2 balloons a roll of tape some wool 3 straws and papper and scissors.

This is my letter of the week this weeks letter was B and at the start I worked by Sean and Kyrahn Sean gave me some ideas for the letter of the day he showed me how to make a box. When I was doing the since starting with the letter b it was very hard to find words that rhyme with the letter B.

Term 2 Refection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is number of the day because I like doing maths and working out math’s questions.

Something that has challenged me this term has been art because I had to go over the whole thing again with Sharpie.

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the tennis ball tower challenge because I worked well with new people.

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was X-country training,  It really helped me when I was at home training.

An aim I have for my learning is to put full effort into my work by taking more time.

EGG CARTON CREATION

This week for our Whetu Challenge I created a monster fire truck. The things I used is egg cartoon paint and hot glue. The hardest part is when I was glueing all the thing together, The easiest part was doing the monster, when I was painting the paint wouldn't dry in time so I could not finish my fire truck in time.

This is my R P W I went to a meeting and my group gave me some ideas to put in my story when I was doing it Max J gave me some ideas about school so I did the story when the monster went to school.

Blog Challenge

This is my blog challenge. I was working by Sean and Max J Sean. Gave me some good ideas one of them is to put in a fridge and a TV. The hardest thing was when I was shrinking the computer onto the desk and the PS4 onto the table under the TV.

I had to fit in the couch by the desk but I had to shrink the desk so the couch could fit.

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be hard but it was very easy because Gaurav gave me some ideas.

I decided to use the design of a simple one because it was the easiest to make.

The hardest part was making it because it didn't work a couple of times.

During our competition time I managed to score 10

Read and predict.

When I was doing my read and predict I had to read it a couple of times because it didn't make seance at the start. At the end I had a talk to Sean and he gave me some ideas and I put them in.

I was doing the birthday challenge I put decorations at the back so It looks like a real party it was hard doing some dots at the back but when I was doing the swirly lines It was hard changing the colours.

I was doing my blog challenge, the hardest part is when I have to write down where I could visit one day I chose Paris and la because they're one of the Top  countries in the world and good places to have vacation on.

Tennis ball challenge

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Bella Alyssa and me.

At first we had trouble with making the correct idea for the tower.

The easiest thing was making the base of tower and putting the tape around it.

The best part of our tower was that it did stand up sometimes and have the ball on top.

Our tower looked great in the end and was a bit strong.

In the end it kinda standed up correctly but we did't have enough time to finish it.

Maths Mystery

This is my maths mystery for this week I was working with Lachlan and Jacob we had to do alot of Maths on some slides when we were on slide 2 for a long time because alot of us had to go to meetings.

The things that I used to make my catapult were: 14 sticks 5 rubber bands and one spoon.

To make my catapult I worked with Jessica and Sean and Me.

The most challenging part was nothing was really challenging it was quite easy putting it together and putting the rubber band around the sticks and the spoon.

Our best results were the highest because we were on the final round but we lost but it was still good.

Overall I think that we worked really well together and we finished Just in time.

This is my emoji blog post the hardest thing was making the chicken because I had to make the squares the right size. The one on the right is my crazy emoji I made his eyes awkward.

I think what will happen next in the terrible two is that the Prankster at the school is gonna prank Miles, and miles is going to tell Niles that The Prankster is going to prank everyone in the school. And become the best Prankster in the school history.

What has been my highlight this week seeing my friends and playing with them on the big blue.

What was I nervous about this week coming to school at the start of the week because it was a bit different.

For dress up day I dressed up as person who woke up late and was late for school.

The funniest thing has happened this week is when I

came to school in my PJ's

I think the best dressed person was kyrahn because he was a skeleton ape and he was funny.

The milk bottle creation I made was a ghost Goldilocks with a scarf and short hair.

The hardest part was cutting out the face and the top of the milk bottle.

The easiest part was putting the hair on.

I enjoyed making ideas with my friends.

this week for my chapter challenge I did creation station I was doing a zip line with Darius Leo Sean for the first 12 times it didn't work but then Mr hitchman helped us to make it tight and then I work.
